The Eclipse machine is just wonderful. It has made such a difference having it in the car even just to go in to Coffs Harbour - I feel much better equipped to face the horrors of the supermarket!
I have been away on two trips one to Brisbane and one to Gunnedah, I can now do things so much more easily on my own so it is a great enhancer to independence.

All in all I am very happy with it. If I have a slight quibble with the Eclipse it is the degree of pressure required to turn it on and off. Like many old ducks I have some arthritis in my hands and it is sometimes quite difficult to press the stop/start button. However, this is a minor complaint. It has performed wonderfully well. I am happy to have you use any comments of mine about the machine. People may find it helpful to speak to a user when making the decision to buy so I wouldn't mind doing this. It was contact with people who had bought machines that made me aware that the Eclipse was more suitable for ...

I am really so glad I recently purchased a Sequal eclipse 2 oxygen concentrator. I had heard that there were portable concentrators available and was about to purchase another brand when, guided by my specialist, I did some further research. Among the many advantages of the eclipse is that it gives the option of continuous flow, not just pulse. This means it can provide the same support that I used to get from the big stationary machine that used to dominate one corner of my bedroom like a monster of ill health, And I can take this support anywhere with me, safe in the knowledge that I can rely on it.The eclipse is easy maintenance; even arthritic hands have no problem with filter and battery changing. If I do need extra help in any way it is always available from the equipment specialist.

Oxygen Concentrator Eclipse 3LPM Portable
By Josie on 21/10/2008 10:23 AM
At the time my mother had been using an oxygen concentrator for over 6 years, the last 3 years in a nursing home in NSW. Being somewhat restricted by the cumbersome machine she had not been able to leave any facility. Other than a few ambulance trips to the hospital she had not been out, or able to go anywhere. With the arrival of the eclipse portable concentrator, life suddenly changed, for not only my mother but the entire family. The machine is easy to use and once mum became familiar, off we went. The first couple of outings were remarkable, bringing tears of joy to us all. She even remarked “there is a world out there” and the cars had changed. The first few trips were just around the South Coast area, the river etc.
